Sally is a science communicator by trade, who loves to mesh her passion for the natural world with her love of multimedia, maps, and data visualization to tell science stories. She began her career in direct marketing, eventually detouring into web design and development, providing a well-rounded foundation for today’s digital landscape. The poaching of one of Kenya’s tuskers, Satao, in 2014 was the catalyst for Sally’s conservation journey.  After several years volunteering with wildlife conservation organizations and obtaining a master’s in conservation biology, she decided it was time to focus her efforts on her one true love – elephants.
