Who we are

Vision

image
We envision a world where elephant populations thrive across Africa and Asia, supported by a well-informed and engaged global community. By bridging the gap between US supporters and international conservation initiatives, we aim to ensure that science-driven elephant protection efforts receive the resources and recognition needed to secure a future for these magnificent creatures.

Mission

image
The Elephant Conservation and Research Fund mobilizes U.S.-based support for elephant conservation programs in Africa and Asia, while using novel science communication approaches to raise awareness about critical elephant conservation issues. Through innovative donor engagement and strategic partnerships, we direct resources to efforts that emphasize community-based conservation, scientific research, and habitat protection, securing a future for wild elephants, their habitats, and fostering community coexistence.
